WHAT IS CSA Founding Member?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.
This is truly a way for locals and community members
to invest in their food and in their local farm to be
able to affordably live Seasonally, Organically, and
benefit from true soil health, all while fostering a
learning relationship with the land, animals and soil.
Families will be able to reap the health and peace of
mind that comes from stepping onto the farm from
where you are eating and the transparency we
provide. Although we are not yet at the finish line for
structures, buildings and beautification, we wanted
to start creating relationships with our community
by opening very limited spots for becoming a
Founding member of our farm.
From late Spring to late Autumn we lovingly and
thoughtfully curate each box with the freshest
organically grown harvest.
By subscribing, you acknowledge that you understand that BlackCottageFarm LLC is not responsible for any natural disasters and are willing to accept the conditions that farmers are faced with throughout the growing and rearing season

HOW IT WORKS
Our CSA structure includes a core box
Weekly core box includes:
5-9 total produce items
1-2 organic greens varieties ex; lettuce, broccoli, cabbage
2-3 organic cooking vegetable varieties ex; carrots, onions, peppers, peas, zucchini,
1-2 feature crops ex; tomatoes, corn, specialty item
Herbs ex; parsley, basil, rosemary, greek oregano, mint, (as available)
Items in each variety category vary by seasons.
CSA IS NOT A GROCERY STORE ORDERING SERVICE ! BUT A SEASONAL SHARING OF A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST
CUSTOMIZE BOX / ADD ON ITEMS
Each core box can be customized with add on items from the farm if they are availble. Add on items include :
Raw Organic Goats Milk (when available) per the state of Kentucky “for animal consumption”
Duck Eggs
Chicken eggs
Seasonal bouquets and premium stems
XL Solid Dish Soap Bar (Savon De Appalachie)
Meat duck, chicken, pork (as available)

MEMBERSHIP FEE
You will see a one-time membership fee of $20 in the shop. This fee helps us provide the Black Cottage Farm level of services our CSA members will come to know and value. This fee allows us to offer reliable, quality, member experiences and an organized CSA operation
What does this cover?
Administrative coordination of our CSA program.
Future Delivery drivers and logistics coordination, fuel, to be able to accommodate those who cannot make it down to the farm pick ups
Customer service and ongoing member support
Behind-the-scenes planning that keeps the CSA running smoothly
Quality packaging and special offers for our BCF members
UNABLE TO PICK UP?
If you are unable to pick up your box, please arrange to have a friend or family member pickup your share. We are unable to offer refunds for any weeks you're unable to pick up. Email us at officialblackcottagefarm@gmail.com
MISSED PICK UPS
We cannot accommodate late or missed pickups and do not offer refunds.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation Policy:
No refunds
We purchase supplies & inputs for produce, specialty items and amendments specifically for CSA Members & therefore incur the expense for each CSA Member once they have registered for the season. If you have the need to cancel your membership, we will be unable to issue any refunds.
Directions To The Farm - Directions will be updated here when Farm is open to public (though construction will be ongoing and beautification will take time, your support helps with this + the goal of open to community )
